THE DAY THE REGENT BOWERBIRD CAME

I woke this morning likr a normal person. I don’t quite know how to describe that. I just woke. Not in pain or stuffed with fluid and not thinking ahead in dread or feeling lonely befuddled and ill.

I woke feeling like an ordinary person.

I had a house inspection which went smoothly. DBO chatted a couple of times.

And the regent Bower Bird allowed me to film him from very close.

The SIM card for my iPhone also came. Danged if I know how to make it work but everything is synced from the iPad.  I shall see Kaybee tomorrow and also see whether the big monitor works.

But most of the day, I watched the Bird.

GOOD NIGHT M’LADY

And still I could die from this.

Still the heart cracks wide – from time to time.

Still- I could die from this.

Goodnight my angel, time to close your eyes And save these questions for another day I think I know what you’ve been asking me I think you know what I’ve been trying to say I promised I would never leave you Then you should always know Wherever you may go, no matter where you are I never will be far away Goodnight my angel, now it’s time to sleep And still so many things I want to say Remember all the songs you sang for me When we went sailing on an emerald bay And like a boat out on the ocean I’m rocking you to sleep The water’s dark and deep, inside this ancient heart You’ll always be a part of me Goodnight my angel, now it’s time to dream And dream how wonderful your life will be Someday your child may cry, and if you sing this lullaby Then in your heart there will always be a part of me Someday we’ll all be gone But lullabies go on and on They never die That’s how you and I will be…..

How To Use Recovery Social Network

Hello everyone i am the creator of Recovery Social Network and i figured i would post something to tech you guys how to use RSN.Set up and Customize your profile And Connect:You set up your profile just like face book tell a little bit about yourself and upload some pictures. If you don’t feel comfortable uploading a picture of yourself than that is okay upload an avatar or an NA  or AA symbol or something, try no to leave it blank though because that is boring. With RSN you can customize your page a little more like you could on Myspace, you can customize your layout and you can even set up a media player. with the media player you can have it play music when a friend visits your profile! Just like Facebook you can add people to be your friend, and they have to accept you. With RSN you don’t have to know the people in person to send them a friend request the whole point is to connect with new people. You can also send anyone whether they are your friend or not a private message.Start Your Own Blog:With RSN you can start your own blog. Most people think the same thing. Wow that’s awesome but what should i blog about? Here are some tips and questions that can help you to keep the creative juices flowing as your blog starts to take shape. What are your expertise? people want to read about what you know and your special experiences. Really they do!What is in the news? Give your view on what is happening in your industry. ( by industry i mean whatever topic your blog is about. but it doesn’t have to have a topic.)What is your personality like? Do you like to take a stance? Are you funny? Try to really put your personality into your blog!you can also blog about what someone else has already. you can create a blog entry by writing word for word a section from the basic text. Or you can copy and paste a really good article that you read. But this is very important if you do this make sure you give credit to the author of the article and the readers know you didn’t write it.What posts are more likely to be read? There are no fast rules, but these types prove to be really popular:Top Reasons Why or Why Not … (list posts of any number are great)Q&A or Interviews (ask an expert from your industry)How I Use … (review a product, movie, book, technology, etc.)If I Were A … (put yourself in someone else’s shoes or imagine a new experience)Personal Posts (our humanness often endears audiences even more)

SHOPPING DAY

I went to Toormina as we often do on a Monday. Kaybee, Miss 5 and me. There was a blackout in the shopping centre. We went in anyways and after a bit, the power came back on.

Bear with me whilst I settle into this new blog and do all the customising etc.

Today I have ignored every commitment I had. Every person who tried to contact me. I have been slipping back into a way of life which I dont WANT TO LIVE AND WHICH REDUCES ME TO DEPRESSION ONCE AGAIN.

So I packed it in today as I did tomorrow and general cheerfulness is returning.

SUCH A LOVELY DAY

I opted out of everything today. The AA Rally. The NA Are Meeting. I slept till Noon. Then a text came asking whether the girls could come and visit.

Down they came in the rain. The first rain we have had for months and months. Umbrellas and Raincoats. We then had one of the best afternoons I have had. The busking amp and computers here and then to the Prov  for lunch. Me doing the driving with a booster seat I bought for Clara. We explored the whole town and went to the park at the Pool. The girls even conned me into using some of the adult equipment there.

It was happy day for me.

First day where I have been able and allowed to drive them around and take them out.

Macman has my computer underway.

I seriously MUST go on the instinct for happiness or I freak out and lose the plot. Enough for now. Bed for me.
